Student recruitment mission: I choose Montréal is off to Morocco
I choose Montréal (ICM) continues with its efforts to recruit abroad.
While Montréal is experiencing a good momentum, I choose Montréal (ICM) continues with its efforts to recruit abroad. This time, it is doing so by going to Morocco for a student attraction mission, in collaboration with the Québec Government Office in Rabat, from September 28 to October 1.
After an exploratory mission last year, ICM is repeating the experience in this country, where French is commonly spoken. “Montréal is a good choice for the Moroccan community because not only does it offer quality education, but also a good quality of life and a French-speaking environment. A Moroccan student who wants to become fluent in English can also come here,” said Hubert Bolduc, President and CEO of Montréal International, in an interview with HuffPost Maghreb (in French only).
Montréal, Your Study Destination
Montréal is a prime destination thanks to its academic excellence, its outstanding living environment and its dynamic job market. That’s the message the delegation will be bringing over to the following events:
- Campus Fair Maroc from September 28 to 29, 2019, in Casablanca
- Networking event: Montréal, Your Study Destination on October 1, 2019 in Rabat
The I choose Montréal team will be there to answer students’ questions about life in Montréal, the job market, employment opportunities for students and graduates, and the immigration process. The team will be accompanied by Campus d’études supérieures techniques de Montréal (which groups together Montréal’s 12 CEGEPS), École nationale d’administration publique (public administration school), École nationale d’aérotechnique du Cégep Édouard-Montpetit (aeronautical school), HEC Montréal, Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS – graduate research school), and Université de Montréal.
Montréal, an outstanding student city
Montréal is ranked No. 2 in the world in 2019 for its student experience (QS Best Student Cities), and nearly 800 Moroccan students have already chosen to study here. The other good news? The number is growing!
The Best Student City in the Americas has so much to offer. Because of its sustained economic growth, Montréal will need a new generation of trained and specialized workers to meet the demands of the job market. To meet this demand, ICM is conducting several student attraction missions not only in North Africa, but also in Europe, the U.S. and Asia.
