I choose Montréal ends the year on a high note with three recruitment missions!
With the school term still in full swing, I choose Montréal (ICM) is busy preparing for three international student attraction missions between now and the end of the year. In addition to organizing a first virtual fair for Latin American students, the ICM team will fly to France in a few days right after leading a mission to China.
While higher education was at the forefront of the agenda for the Chinese mission, the focus will be placed on specialized programs such as computer graphics, animation and video games in Paris. As for the virtual event, students in Latin America will be able to learn about professional, collegial and university training.
Artistic training in the spotlight in Paris
With French students still the largest group to choose Montréal for their university studies, there is no shortage of opportunities for creative studies in the region! Hence the presence of Cégep Marie-Victorin, Collège Ahuntsic, École NAD, Institut Grasset and I choose Montréal at France’s unavoidable event for artistic training, namely the START Fair in Paris.
And since one event often leads to another, a friendly evening at the Maison des Étudiants Canadiens (Cité internationale universitaire de Paris) will be organized to discuss the basics of studies in Greater Montréal, in collaboration with Desjardins Group. Representatives from HEC Montréal, Québec métiers d’avenir and Université de Montréal will also be involved in this networking event.
A first virtual event in Latin America
And to close the session, Latin American students will be able to contemplate studying in Montréal during the very first virtual fair dedicated to them. On December 4, via their phone or computer, they will be able to talk with numerous educational institutions and the I choose Montréal team about studies and student life in Greater Montréal.

Did you know that the metropolis ranks 3rd among the 20 largest metropolitan areas in Canada and the United States for job creation? With the economy running at full steam, the job market is enjoying unprecedented vitality, which comes as excellent news for international students looking for studies with a career plan.
